For most people, marriage may be something that would be the end of their free-wheeling bachelorship and the beginning of a life-long burdening commitment with another 1001 restrictions. For us, marriage is a whole blank new chapter, waiting to be painted with our colorful colors of life that we can’t wait to explore – together! Oh sure, we have had those, questioning our sanity once we broke the news. Heck, some even popped the big aren’t-you-two-still-young-to-get-married question, but we always have the same answer for all: age is nothing but a number, dope. wehehe.
We are not claiming to be the incredible love gurus or anything like that, but we have found our *ehems* true love, and we know what it’s like to love, and be loved (and get brokenhearted too, for that matter). ;) So we thought we’d share with you our secrets to a cheesy everlasting love! :P
Different couples have different ways of handling each relationship. Obviously. :P However, as from our experience, there is always one thing that we have always held on to : honesty. No matter how painful, no matter how hard, we always stay true to each other. We never tried twisting a story, we never make up excuses (although sometimes Thara has the tendency to do that – or so Aien claims. hehe) but, honestly, we personally feel that it’s the secret to our relationship, lasting this long. We share everything, and everything is transparent between us, no holding back. The truth hurts, sometimes, yes we agree. But we swallowed them all, and went through all heartaches together, bravely and patiently. And alhamdulillah, we have made it this far! :)
