I first laid my eyes on him in my foundation year, back in MMU, Malacca. He was wearing his famous orange-colored shirt, rushing into class. Hehe. Back then, I thought he was cute, but did not think of attempting any move on him since I was already tied to someone else at that time. But then, a year later, fate had plans for us, and we crossed paths again in our final semester in our first year this time. I can still remember it vividly in my mind – I received his very first online message through Yahoo Messenger one night. I was surprised! But humored him anyways, being the friendly person that I am. ;)
One thing led to another, we started to become good virtual friends and somehow I knew, he started to develop this *ehems* feelings for me. Hehe. Twice he asked me out to accompany him somewhere, but twice I turned him down. Oh yes, loving the hard-to-get game, alright! ;) Although, I have to admit, the more I spent time chatting with him, the more I begin to feel attracted to him. Until one night, we were chatting about the most talked about show in town – Disney’s Princess On Ice. Coincidentally, I was looking for a suitable companion for the event, and so, giving the times that I turned him down, I was ready to give him the chance. Gathering all the confidence I could muster, I casually asked him if he would like to be my escort to the event – as friends. Needless to say, he agreed to it (hehe), and that was how everything started. :)
That night was magical. It was a night where Cinderella meets his prince, and I met my own. Although it was not our first official date as we went as friends on that night, but it was, indeed, a beautiful start to a beautiful relationship, nonetheless. :) Two weeks later, he proposed that we took our friendship to the next level and this time, I was certained that I have fallen for him – gave him a “yes” for an answer, and there you have it – how I met Aien, my other half. :)
